Stunning Jewelry for Children

All girls dreamt of being a princess when they were young. When my daughter celebrated her 6th birthday, we decided to make the theme of the birthday party as if the kids were prince and princess. Making their dreams come true is not as easy as it sounds. One of the best ways to make your darling baby feel like a princess is to give them a crown. A crown is the best jewelry to turn my baby into a little princess. This would not only act as an accessory but it could also boost her confidence. She was usually shy with other people but every time we play and pretend that she is a princess, she becomes a playful and jolly kid. There are many options in finding the best crown.

This gave me a hard time for we decided to give out plastic silver crowns with colorful plastic gems as part of the invitation. I had to make sure that it would not be too heavy or big to the point that the kids will not be able to move freely or comfortably because of its weight or size. I also had to consider its make and form. I had to avoid buying a crown with very pointy edges which could harm the kids. After getting crowns for the guests, I then had to buy one for the birthday celebrant. I decided to buy a silver crown with diamond-like gems. The design was quite simple yet elegant. It was a half crown wherein it made it easier to pin the crown to her hair to keep it in place. The party was a success. Everybody loved their crowns. My daughter which is now 15 years old now has other jewelries such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, but she still keeps the crown which she now considers as one of her most precious piece of jewelry.

When to Give a Child Jewelry

While children should probably not be given very fancy, delicate, or expensive jewelry it is nice to give a child jewelry as a special gift. When I was five years old my mother bought me an inexpensive gold necklace that had my name on it. Today I am twenty five and still have the gold necklace. I didn’t treat the necklace very carefully. The name part was bent a few times and I flattened it back out and the chain was tangled many times. I try to take good care of the necklace now because it means a lot to me.

When you give a child jewelry it’s best to make sure they are the age where they know not to break things. Five or six years old is a good age for a child to receive a gift of jewelry. The gift giver and the parents should let the child know that jewelry costs money and they should show the child how to properly care for it. If the child doesn’t already have a jewelry box it would be a good gift once they have jewelry. Jewelry for a child should be sturdy and not break as easily. The child should have already gotten used to plastic jewelry. Cheap plastic jewelry is a way for a child to practice wearing jewelry. They get used to keeping it on and keeping track of it to not lose it. Giving a child jewelry to mark a significant day is a great way to show them you care and to help them mature.

Cute Child Jewelry for Any Age

Children are usually seen as being reckless with jewelry and delicate things. If you teach them at a young enough age to take care of valuable jewelry, they will be much more careful with the jewelry they get. If you are scared about giving your child jewelry that is real gold or silver, then start off with fake stuff. There are plenty of options when it comes to buying fake gold or silver, and the child will never know the difference. The trick is to convince them that the jewelry is real, and see how well they take care of it.

Retailers sell some of the cutest jewelry when it comes to jewelry for children. Disney themed pieces, and jewelry representing every character you could think of. They are usually small and just the right size for little kids. Some parents choose to get their child jewelry to identify them in case they are lost, such as ID bracelets. It’s not silly to buy your child jewelry that is more expensive, as long as you are sure they can handle the responsibility of owning that jewelry!

The best thing about a lot of jewelry for children is that much of it is cheap plastic. Children are more than happy with cute costume jewelry they can use for dress up or wear to school. After all, they will probably outgrow it quickly. The best thing to do is let your little girl or boy express themselves with the jewelry they like. When they grow up they will have an excellent sense of fashion and jewelry wearing, and you may encourage them to be designers! Child jewelry is affordable as well, ranging from just a few dollars to around $100 for most pieces.

My Little Niece is So Cute

I have a little niece who just turned a year old, and I have to say she is one of the cutest kids that I have ever seen. I realize that I am probably biased since she is my niece, but I really think that even if a person who was completely neutral laid eyes on her, they would agree that she is absolutely adorable. Unlike many children who are her same age, she already has quite a bit of hair on top of her head. In addition to that, she has a smile that can literally light up the entire room.

I was so happy that my sister took her to get pictures recently, because we will all enjoy them for many years to come. She just got the pictures back a couple of days ago, and I was so happy that she had quite a few prints made for me. In addition to having several different outfits and poses, they also put some different accessories on my little niece, including a couple pieces of children’s jewelry that really accented her well. Given the fact that she’s already such a cutie, I know my niece is going to be quite a heart-breaker when she gets older!

Christmas Was Great

Christmas is not always a holiday I enjoy. That may sound terrible to you, but there are reasons why I feel this way. There have been a couple of events that took place in my life on Christmas, and all of these events had a negative impact on me. However, although there were some hard things that I have been through on Christmas, I have worked my hardest to get over these events and focus on thinking about the positive side of Christmas.

Because I have committed myself to keeping a positive mindset about Christmas, I was actually able to have a really enjoyable time this year. It may sound strange that just changing your thoughts can have that significant of an impact, but it actually did work really well for me.

One of the things that makes me enjoy Christmas the most is watching the children in my family become so happy. There is nothing that can make you smile as much as watching an absolutely thrilled child open Christmas presents. Even when it’s something simple like a piece of jewelry, kids get so happy on Christmas Day.
